Pandemic Prayer Books
Beginning in 2021, I created my first pandemic prayer book as a gift for a friend. Since then, I've crafted four more to complete this series. Each book is made from vintage gloves sewn on cords and contains only one word: BREATHE. The surfaces of the gloves that form the pages are adorned with small beads covered in text from an ancient medical book. This series reminds viewers to slow down, breathe, and focus on what's most important.
