(w)hole II was part of Alternative Maternals-London, an exhibition which ran in June 2015, during the Motherhood and Creative Practice Conference at London South Bank University, organized by Elena Marchevska and Valerie Walkerdine. The first iteration of this installation in Berlin 2014, was created before my mother passed away in December 2014. This was an opportunity to re-visit my relationship, consider her fading memory as now my memory of her begins to also begins to fade.
